Exhibition Overview
In After Context, Jud Bergeron reimagines a single sculptural form as a generative model for variation, disruption, and material inquiry. Much like a prompt in artificial intelligence leads to infinite outcomes, Bergeron treats material and process as sculptural prompts, allowing each to reshape the work in unexpected ways.
Through this process, After Context becomes a study in how meaning shifts when form is transposed, reframed, reimagined, and recontextualized. Each iteration speaks in a different dialect of the same visual language, revealing the mutable relationship between structure, context, and intent.
